Robo Call — 04.17.2024

Hi everyone this is Carol Hudak on behalf of the Board with the Weekly Wednesday Update.

The Petition in support of H.R. 7084 - You Earned It, You Keep It Act to halt the taxation of Social Security benefits during retirement is still available for signature in the Office Building Hallway and in the Lobby before the Social Club. Please come in to sign the Petitionbefore it is sent to Trenton this Friday.

Those attending the Open Board Meeting last Thursday participated in a discussion about the posting of signs around the basins in Holiday Heights, particularly, the Davenport basin relating to the trespassing through the private homes and properties surrounding the basin and the recreational use of the basin. The Board, in conjunction with the Berkeley Township PD, will be posting signs to include rules relating to Town ordinances punishable by fines and/or arrest as well as HH HOA fines. Please note there will be no swimming, wading, boating, dog walking, or picnicking in or around the basin. Fishing is “catch and release” only for Holiday Heights Homeowners, Residents, & Guests wearing Badges from Dawn to Dusk. There will be more to come soon in the Courier and website. The PD will be patrolling the basin more often going forward. Please keep in mind, the basins are the result of run-off from rain water from the streets filled with contaminants including animal waste and lawn insecticides, etc.

The auditorium will be closed Thursday for all activities for set up for Social Club. Doors will open at 5:30. Entertainment will be provided by Tommy Coniglio, better known as the Voice of Tribute, singing songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Frankie Valli, and many others.
